An ordinam..e Amending paragraph five of Section one of ordi-
nance No. 445 providing for rates and regulati on of W-ichi,ta
Falls , Texas, water department.
Bo it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City
of Wichita Fal41s, Texas,
Section 1. That paragraph 6 of Section No. 19 of
Ordinance No . '445 be amended 't'o read as follows, to-wit :
Municipal Consumption. All water furnished to the various
departments of the Qity of Wichita Falls, Texas and all water
furnishedto the public Schools maintained and operated in

charged to their respective acdounts and paid for monthly
by the respective departments to the stater department at
the rate of lb� per one thousand gallons „and all water used
by the public Schools maintained and operated in the City
of Wic hit a Falls , Texas shall be charged to Board' Of Education
Wichita Falls, Independent School District, Wichita Falls, Texas,
and paid for morlthly/aJt tks xgitw by the Board of Education
Wichita Falls Independent School District to the Water Dope rtment
at the rate of lbo per one thousand gallons.
All water furnished the departments of the City shall
be paid as follows;
1. For all water furnished for street sprinkling
street cleaning, sweeping and flushing to the Street department .
2. For all water furnished to 'Public parks, play grounds
etc. to the park department.
3. For all water furnished to the Cemetery, Incin-
erater flushing seweus, or sprinkling dumping grounds, to the
Sanitary Department.

4. , For installation and maintenance of Fire Hydrants, for fire
purposes only, the sum of three and no/100 dollars per month for each
such fire hydrant in service and connected to the water department
mains.
b. For all water furnished for any municipal building or for
the use of any of the departments of the City government not specified
in this: ordinance the same shall be charged to such buidling or
department service account and paid for from such fund as may be
available, rout in the event no building or departmental fund is a
vailable such account shall be paid from the general fund or other
funds as directed by the Poard of Aldermen.
Whereas on account of lack of sufficient funds with which
to carry on bad maintain the public schools of Wichita Falls, Texas,
as aforesaid and and the Wichita Falls Independent School District
being taxed to the limit at this time creates an urgency and emer-
gency for the immediate preservation of the public schools for the
inhabitants of the city of plichitaFalls, Texas, andfor the immediate
passage Of this ordinance and it is therefore accordingly so ordained
that this ordinance become effective immediately upon its passage
as in the charter in such cases made and provided.
