Ord 004-2003 1/7/2003ORDINANCE NO. L� - ZOQ_z, ORDINANCE WAIVING APPENDIX A, COMPREHENSIVE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, SECTION 9, STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS, (B) STREETS, PARAGRAPH 1(H) TO ALLOW A RESIDENTIAL CUL -DE -SAC WITH A LENGTH OF OVER 300 FEET IN THE FOUNTAIN PARK SUBDIVISION, PROPOSED SECTION 22 -B, PROPOSED LOTS 1 THROUGH 9, BLOCK 45; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, affected city departments have reviewed the plat containing a cul- de -sac over 300 feet long in the Fountain Park Subdivision, Section 22 -B. Lots 1 through 9, Block 45, and have found no public safety concerns related to the length of the proposed cul -de -sac; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Wichita Falls hereby has determined that granting this waiver is in the public interest; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. A waiver is hereby granted of Appendix A, Comprehensive Subdivision Ordinance, Section 9, Standards and Specifications, (B) Streets, Paragraph 1(H) to allow residential a cul -de -sac with a length of over 300 feet in the Fountain Park Subdivision, Section 22 -B. proposed Lots 1 through 9, Block 45. Said property is shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A ". SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of January 2003. w mv.
