AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE NORTHEAST
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS
ARE DESCRIBED I N THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That'the following tracts of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be
extended so as to include said tracts of land in Wichita County,
Texas, the same being more particularly described as follows:
TRACT I.
BEGINNING at a'point 330 feet West of the West line of
North Beverly Drive, said point being the most Northerly boundary
line produced of Wichita Gardens;
THENCE North parallel to and 330 feet West of the West line
of North Beverly approximately 2889 feet to the South line of
U. S. Highway Nod 287;
THENCE N 79 -451 West along the South line of said U. S.
Highway No. 287, 139983 feet to the West line produced of Lot
No, 4 of the J. F. Ke i 1 Subdivision in the Charles Harrison
Survey A -85;
THENCE North along the West line produced of the said Lot
4 of the J. F. Kei 1 Subdivision approximately 2022 feet to the
center line of the North main canal of the Wichita County Water
Improvement District No. 2;
THENCE Eastward with the meanders of the center line of said
North Main Canal of the Wichita County Water Improvement District
No. 2, to the East right -of -way line of the Red River Expressway;
THENCE Southeasterly with the East right-of -way line of the
said Red River Expressway to its intersection with the present
City Limit line;
THENCE South with the present City Limit line to a point in
the South right -of -way line of the Fort Worth and Denver City
Railroad;
THENCE N 79° -451 W along said South right -of -way line to the
East line of the Boardman Subdivision;
THENCE South with said East line to the Southerly line of the
said Boardman Subdivision;
THENCE S 600-081 W with the Southerly line of the Boardman
Subdivision to a point 2641 feet East of the West line of North
Bever ly Dr ive;
THENCE South to the Nor th line of Wichita Gardens;
THENCE West along the North line and the North line produced
of Wichita Gardens 2971 feet to the place of beginning and contain-
ing 1096 acres more or less.
TRACT II,

ing South of the South boundary line of the right ,-of -way of the
Proposed United States Highway'No, 287 Expressway, at this time un-
fenced, in the T. Hardy Survey, Abstract No. 3679 and in the J.R.
Cook Survey, Abstract No, 40 and North of the North boundary line
of th:: grant from Mrs, Helen'G. Harris to Wichita County Water
Improvement District No. One, dated August 179, 1923, recorded in
Vol. 210, page 2299 Deed Records of Wichita County, Texas, con-
taining 106.19 acres more or less,

Falls, Texas, and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be
finally acted upon.
