AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS, AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED
AS THE 1980 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT
PAVING PROGRAM, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICA-
TIONS PREPARED BY THE CITY ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING
THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is of
the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets, and public
places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
1.
Ordinance No. 3518 is hereby repealed.
II.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following portions
of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas be
improved, to-wit:
BE BE LANE: From the south property line of Beatrice
Lane to the south property line of Harding
Street.
E. 2ND STREET: From the east property line of Eastside Drive
to the east property line of Pine Street.
FARRIS STREET: From the south property line of Seventh
Street south 150 feet.
LIVE OAK STREET: From the north property line of East Third
Street to the south property line of East
Second Street.
MAPLE STREET: From the north property line of East Third
Street to 350 feet north of the north property
line of East Second Street.
MILL STREET: From the north property line of Flood Street
to northeast corner of Lot 4, Blk. 159,
Original Townsite.
NORTH BROOK AVENUE: From the north property line of Lincoln Street
to the south property line of North Tenth Street.
NORTH TENTH STREET: From the east property line of North Broadway
to the west property line of North Brook Avenue.
PARK STREET: From the north property line of Flood Street
to the south property line of Tulsa Street.
PERIGO STREET: From the south property line of Ireland Street
to the south property line of Hawthorne Street.
REYNOLDS LANE: From 480 feet north of the north property line
of Harding Street to the north property line of
Hickory Lane.

Street to the south property line of Ft.
Worth Street.
TULSA STREET: From the east property line of Park Street
to the east property line of Mill Street.
WARREN STREET: From the east property line of North Brook
Avenue to the west property line of North

WASHINGTON STREET: From the east property line of Calhoun Street
to the west property line of Clay Street.
WASHINGTON STREET: From the east property line of North Brook
Avenue to the west property line of North

TENTH AND OHIO PARKING LOT.
III.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications for
the improvement of the herinabove described portions of avenues, streets, and
public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board of
Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
IV.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive bids for
the making and constructing of said improvements.
V.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage. //

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that the following streets
in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas be improved and that a portion
of the cost of such improvements is to be specially assessed as a lien upon the
property abutting thereon, and said portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas as follows:
