Ord 3639 4/1/1980 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-91.1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF • WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ADDING SUB-PARA- GRAPH (AM) AND (AN) TO SECTION 29-91.1 AND, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA 1 FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The schedule set out in Section 29-91.1 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby amended to add sub-paragraphs to read as follows: "(AM) Thirteenth Street (1) 20 MPH From a point 150 feet east of Bluff Street to Broad Street. (AN) Fourteenth Street (1) 20 MPH From Broad Street to a point 150 feet east of Bluff Street." SECTION 2. The fact that the prima facie speed limits set out in this ord- inance are necessary to the safe and orderly movement of traffic upon the streets of the City of Wichita Falls, this ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure on the grounds that there is an urgent public need for the orderly flow of traffic upon the streets, and a public need for the preservation of the peace, health, and safety of the lives and property of the citizens of the city.
