Ord 7-85 1/15/1985 ORDINANCE NO. 7—Aij AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE ACCOUNT NUMBER LISTED BELOW, INCREASING BUDGETED REVENUE FIGURES TO RECOGNIZE REVENUES TO BE RECEIVED FROM THE OPERATION OF THE POLICE IMPOUND FACILITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1 . There is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund the sum of $59,000.00 which shall be placed in the following Account Number: PROJECT NUMBER AMOUNT 11-232-4480 $59,000.00 SECTION 2. The following revenue accounts are hereby credited with the amounts shown to recognize revenues to be received from operation of the Police Impound Facility: 11-000-3448 $34,000.00 11-000-3643 $10,000.00 11-000-3655 $15,000.00 SECTION 3. The need to amend the budget presents a grave public necessity, and it is an emergency expenditure to meet unusual and unforeseen conditions which could not by reasonable, diligent thought and attention have been included in the original budget. The fact that this amount will be due and that it is essential for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency; therefore, this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
