Ord 43-85 5/7/1985 ORDINANCE NO. 4.13- 6 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-21 (C) AND SECTION 14-23 (D) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO REDUCE TO NINETY (90) DAYS THE WAITING PERIOD BEFORE AN ELECTRICIAN 'S EXAMINATION MAY BE TAKEN OVER. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1 . The second paragraph of Section 14-21 (C) of the Code of Ordinances, which concerns master electricians, is hereby amended to read as follows : "A successful applicant shall pay to the secretary the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) as the first year ' s license fee . The $200. 00 must be paid within thirty (30) days after the grading of the examination paper and prior to beginning work; otherwise, the examination shall be null and void. In case of failure to pass the examination, an applicant must wait 90 days before being allowed to take another examination. The fee of Thirty ($30 . 00) Dollars shall be required for each examination. " SECTION 2 . The second paragraph of Section 14-23 (D) of the Code of Ordinances, which concerns journeyman electricians, is hereby amended to read as follows: "In case of failure to pass the examination, an applicant must wait ninety (90) days before being permitted to take another examination .
