Ord 112-85 10/15/1985 ORDINANCE NO. /1.2— fs- ORDINANCE TO RESCIND ORDINANCE NO. 159-83 AND TO ADJUST WATER RATES AND OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR RETAIL CUSTOMERS USING RAW WATER ONLY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Ordinance No. 159-83, dated December 16, 1983, is hereby rescinded. The current rate structure for raw water retail customers inside the corporate city limits is as follows: Minimum bill, including 200 cubic feet of water: (per month) $3.57 Volume charge (per 100 cubic feet) , for larger consumption 0.1927 Raw water customers outside the corporate city limits will pay two times the above rates, and will also pay two times the rate for user fees such as tap fees, meter installation, meter rereads, etc. The above rates shall be effective during the first full billing cycle after October 31, 1985, and thereafter. The meters of raw water retail customers will be read once each quarter. Billing cycles between meter reading will use estimated consumptions as a basis for the billing, and the number of consumptions will be adjusted quarterly when the meter reading is taken. Additional revenue is needed in the Public Utilities Department during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1985, therefore this Ordinance is declared an emergency and shall be effective upon its passage.
