Ord 140-85 12/3/1985 1111 • ORDINANCE NO. �L/G-gJ bRDINANCE AMENDING•"ARTICLE'IIITCHAPTE 16~0FrTHE'-7 CODEOF 'ORDINANCES 'TO'?REVISE' REQUIREMENTS "FUR" ODl1' <"HANDLERS77AND7Y'ro-PROVIDE' FOR' THE KEEPING OF FOOD,";^" FHANDL ER' S" CERTI.FICATERECORDSurFOR*A'MINIMUM OF FIVE"' (YEARS WHEREAS, the Health Department has recommended an amendment of the requirements to obtain a Food Handler' s Certificate, and the record-keeping of such certificate; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WICHITA FILLS, TEXAS, THAT: Section 16-30 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended for the heading and paragraph (a) to read as follows: Section 16-30 " Food Handler' s Certificate Required. (a) Whenever a Health Certificate is referred in this chapter, it shall be considered the same as a Food Handler' s Certificate. " Section 16-33 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 16-35 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 16-35 "Records to be kept It shall be the duty of the city health district to provide for the keeping of a permanent record, together with the date of issuance of all permanent food handler' s certificates issued to a person under provision of this article.
