RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A 91-HP TRACTOR WITH FRONT LOADER TO BEREND TURF &
TRACTOR IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,250.00; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a 91-HP tractor with front loader; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 15, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 91-HP tractor for the
MPEC/Business Park Maintenance Division,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of a 91-
HP tractor to Berend TurF & Tractor in the amount of $36,250.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
