RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #2 TO THE
RENOVATION OF WEEKS PARK GOLF COURSE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Soil samples taken from the irrigation lake at Weeks Park gotf
course indicate the proposed method of clay compaction will not hold water; and
WHEREAS, The contractor has proposed a sealant; and
WHEREAS, Application of the sealant will result in a net contract increase of
$31,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order #2 to the Renovation of Weeks Park Golf Course is
hereby approved.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
