RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE WICHITA
FALLS 4B SALES TAX BOARD 2006-2007 BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT
OF $500,000 EACH FOR THE SOFTBALL FIELD COMPLEX
EXPANSION AND ENHANCED GYMNASIUM SPACE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Board met on May 11, 2007; and
WHEREAS, The Board considered a request for $500,000 to complete the four-
field expansion to the City's softball complex and $500,000 for enhanced gymnasium
space to partner with the Wichita Falls Independent School District for recreation
programs; and
WHEREAS, The Board approved both requests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2006-2007 Budget is hereby amended in the amount of
$500,000 to complete the four-field expansion to the City's softball complex and
$500,000 for enhanced gymnasium space.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
