Resolution granting the authority to the City Manager to execute a
ninety-day extension to the current contract for Emergency Medical
Service to American Medical Response Ambulance Service , d/b/a
American Medical Response
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to maintain Emergency Medical
Response and Transportation for the citizens of our community; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to allow for contract negotiations with the
current EMS Provider.
NOW, THEREOF, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to the City Manager to execute a contract extension not
to exceed ninety days to American Medical Response.

The contract for EMS ("Contract") entered into on the 20th day of November, 2012, by
and between the Cities of Wichita Falls, Iowa Park, and Burkburnett, Texas, each a home rule
municipal corporation of the State of Texas, the County of Wichita (hereinafter referred to all
as the "Entities") and American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc. d/b/a American Medical
Response, or AMR, hereinafter referred to as “Contractor” is hereby extended for ninety (90) days and shall
expire on the 20th of February, 2018
