Resolution authorizing award of bid for the purchase of three (3) 35 -
foot low-floor buses to Gillig LLC in the amount of $1,269,936.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of three (3) 35-foot low-floor transit coaches; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on September 22, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase three (3) 35 -foot low-floor transit
coaches for the Public Transportation Division’s fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of three (3) 35 -foot low-
floor transit coaches to Gillig LLC in the amount of $1,269,936.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of November, 2017.
