Resolution extending the charge to the ad hoc Lake Wichita
Revitalization Committee for two years and extending the terms of
the members
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed the ad hoc Lake Wichita Study
Committee in May 2013, which had an 18-month period in which to address the several
items in the charge to the committee; and the name was changed to the Lake Wichita
Revitalization Committee and that time frame was extended in October 2014; and ,
WHEREAS, the Lake Wichita Revi talization Committee is set to expire in
November 2017 and the committee has requested an extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The Lake Wichita Study Committee time period is he reby for two years, to
expire November 30, 2019.
2. The terms of the current members are hereby extended until November
30, 2019.
