Resolution No. _147-2017__
Resolution authorizing award of bid to CDW Government LLC in the
amount of $68,699.60 to upgrade the City’s Cisco Voice Over IP
(VOIP) phone system, including the necessary hardware, software,
installation services, and a year of SMARTnet maintenance
WHEREAS, the City’s current phone system equipment is in excess of 7 years
old and at the end of its life cycle and support; and,
WHEREAS, a quote was received from CDW Government LLC through the
Department of Information Resources’ contract # DIR-TSP-2542 for the purchase of
this equipment and related services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Award of bid to CDW Government LLC in the amount of $68,699.60 to upgrade
the City’s phone system, which includes the necessary hardware, software, installation
services, and a year of SMARTnet maintenance , is hereby approved.
