Ordinance appropriating $59,000.00 to the Special Revenue Fund
from the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grant Program
(Grant Number: 3323801) and authorizing the City Manager to accept
said funds
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been notified that it has been awarded
$59,000.00 from the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grant Program (Grant
Number: 3323801); and,
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used to purchase Facial Recognition Software
and Associated Camera Equipment to be used by the Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is appropriated $59,000.00 in the Special Revenue Fund for the purpose
of Facial Recognition Software and Associated Camera Equipment from the Office of
the Governor, Homeland Security Grant Program (Grant Number: 3323801), and the
City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept said funds on
behalf of the City of Wichita Falls .
