1. CALL TO ORDER.
A. John Fritzsch called the meeting to order at 1:37 p.m.
2. MINUTES.
A. The minutes of August 28, 2017 were put before the Board for approval.
Tom Lang made the motion to approve the minutes and Stephen Garner
seconded the motion.
3. DEPARTMENTAL REPORT.
A. Circle Trail
Bluff Natural Trail section is complete. Hand railing has been install
No date set for dedication/ribbon cutting as of yet.
• BNSF approved leasing easement. Grants are still pending for
Seymour/Barnett Rd.
Watermill cover traffic box at Lawrence Rd and Maplewood is now
working.
• Parks Dept. is working on Tree Trimming Project downtown area.
• Recreation Dept. has 21 programs including Athletics and 50+ Zone.
4. PARK IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE:
A. September 7, 2017 is Texhoma Gives and Lake Wichita Revitalization
Project raised $21.000 in donation.
B. Brick Campaign will be kicking off soon.
C. September &I LWRC hosted a Party in the Park event at Lake Wichita.
