RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR THE RENOVATION TO WEEKS PARK
GOLF COURSE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, City staff and its Golf Course Architect find it appropriate to remove the
gravel bedding from the construction contract resulting in a credit of $103,000; and
WHEREAS, City staff and its Golf Course Architect find it appropriate to construct finro
earthen mounds to keep range balls in the driving range; resulting in additional cost of
$50,490.05; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order #1 for the renovation of Weeks Park Golf Course is hereby
approved; resulting in a project credit of $52,509.95.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
