RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT THE LAKE KEMP RAW WATER SUPPLY
SYSTEM HEADQUARTERS ROAD RESERVOIR AND PUMP STATION
CWF06-544-03 TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT TO EAGLE
CONTRACTING; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with Eagle
Contracting with the estimated total cost of $3,520,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $3,523,758.23 of
which $3,453,283.07 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $70,475.16; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Lake Kemp Raw Water Supply System Headquarters Road
Reservoir and Pump Station CWF06-544-03 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of April, 2007.
