RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CITY'S ESTIMATED ANNUAL REQUIREMENT OF PERMETHRIN
BASED ADULTICIDE TO ADAPCO, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$41,475.00.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of the City's estimated annual requirement of permethrin based adulticide for
the control of adult mosquito's.; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 15, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase permethrin based adulticide for
the Zoonosis Division.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of
a permethrin based adulticide to ADAPCO, Inc., in the amount of $41,475.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
