RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A 1-TON CAB & CHASSIS TO PRESTIGE FORD IN THE AMOUNT
OF $24,966.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a 1-ton cab & chassis; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 23, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 1-ton cab & chassis for the
City's fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of a 1-
ton cab and to Prestige Ford in the amount of $24,966.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of April 2007.
