RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A 25,500 GVW CREW TRUCK TO WICHITA FALLS FREIGHTLINER,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $68,352.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of 25,500 GVW crew truck; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 22, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 2-ton crew truck for the City's
fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of a 2-
ton crew truck to Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $68,352.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
