RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO.
36 TO THE JASPER WATER TREATMENT PLANT
REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CWF04-
544-21 IN THE AMOUNT OF $117,883.44; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THE
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Eagle
Contracting, LP; and
WHEREAS, previously approved Change Orders 1 through 35 have increased the
contract to $19, 908, 090.80.
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 36 would add $117,883.44 to the contract; and
WHEREAS, approval of this change order would increase the contract amount to
$20, 025, 974.24; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this Change Order and
recommends its approval.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 36 for the Jasper Water Treatment Plant
Rehabilitation and Improvements Project, CWF04-544-21 is hereby approved and the
City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 36.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which
this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
