RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF STEEL DECK TRUCK SCALES TO RUSTY'S
WEIGH SCALES & SERVICE, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $64,980.00.;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids a steel deck
truck scales; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 9, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase truck scales for the City
Landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase and
installation of steel deck truck scales to the low bidder Rusty's Weigh Scales & Service,
Inc., in the amount of $64,980.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
