RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE
AND DELIVERY OF 2,000 TONS OF CRUSHER RUN TO BORDERLINE
TRUCKING IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,540.00; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase and delivery of crusher run; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 14, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase crusher run for the
maintenance of roads at the City Landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase and
delivery of 2,000 tons of crusher run to Borderline Trucking in the amount of
$27,540.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
