RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR RENOVATION
TO WEEKS PARK GOLF COURSE; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, A public bid opening was conducted on February 28, 2007 for the
Renovation of Weeks Park Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, It is found the lowest, responsible bidder is Landscapes Unlimited, who
made a lump sum bid of $$3,318,836.63; and
WHEREAS, City staff is recommending the inclusion of add alternates totaling
$353,000 for a total contract value of $3,671,836.63.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said total contract value of $3,671,836.63 is hereby awarded to
Landscapes Unlimited, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the
City with said Contractor for the renovation of Weeks Park Golf Course.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
