RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE WICHITA
FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION 2006-2007
BUDGET FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AT THE BUSINESS PARK;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation met on
February 23 to consider a proposal from city staff to amend their budget for landscape
maintenance; and
WHEREAS, They approved the proposal, and have recommended an increase
in their budget from $60,000 to $141,241.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2006-2007 Budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation is hereby amended in the landscape maintenance account from $60,000
to $141,241.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
