RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2006-2007
BUDGET OF THE 4B SALES TAX BOARD FOR DEBT SERVICE AND A
GRANT TO THE KEMP CENTER FOR THE ARTS; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Board met on October 8, 2007; and
WHEREAS, The 4B Sales Tax Board previously agreed to pay for the portion of
the debt service payments for improvements to Weeks Park Golf Course and Tax
Increment Financing District #2; and
WHEREAS, The 4B Sales Tax Board considered a request and is
recommending funding in the amount of $75,000 for the Kemp Center for the Arts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2006-2007 Budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Board is
hereby amended in the amount of $598,603 for annual debt service obligations.
SECTION 2. The 2006-2007 Budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Board is
hereby amended in the amount of $75,000 to fund improvements to the Kemp Center
for the Arts.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
