RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LIGHTBARS,
SIRENS AND SPEAKERS FROM BIG COUNTRY SUPPLY IN THE
AMOUNT OF $28,722.89 AND VEHICLE PARTITIONS FROM GT
DISTRIBUTORS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,690.61, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of light bars, sirens; and accessories for police patrol vehicles, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 19, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase lightbars and sirens for the
2007 police patrol vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of light
bars, sirens and speakers to Big Country Supply in the amount of $28,722.89 and for
vehicle partitions to GT Distributors in the amount of $3,690.91.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
