RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR PORTABLE
FENCE PANELS TO METTA TECHNOLOGIES, INC., IN THE AMOUNT
OF $47,500.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of portable fence panels; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 18, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase portable fence panels for the
containment of litter at the Landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of
portable fence panels to the low bidder Metta Technologies, Inc., in the amount of
$47,500.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
