Res 014-2007 2/6/2007 RESOLUTION NO. ��- o�.O 7 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVENTEEN (17) IN-CAR VIDEO SYSTEMS THROUGH TEXAS BUILDING AND PROCUREMENT COMMISSION PURCHASING COOPERATIVE, FROM MOBILE-VISION, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $49,963.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, local governments are authorized by Chapter 791, et seq., The Interlocal Cooperation Act of the Government Code, to agree with other local governments to form purchasing cooperatives; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase seventeen (17) in-car video systems for police patrol vehicles; and WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the Texas Building and Procurement Commission Purchasing Cooperative. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to purchase seventeen (17) in-car video systems from Mobile-Vision, Inc., in the amount of $49,963.00. SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
