RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, DETERMINING THE LOCATION OF FIRE STATION #8;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, On January 2, 2007, the City Council awarded a Professional
Services Agreement to the architectural firm of Staley, Baker, Monson to complete
design and construction observation services for the relocation of Fire Station #8; and
WHEREAS, There are several options for the location of this fire station within
the strategic area identified by the Fire Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Fire Station #8 will be relocated west of the entrance to the Funland
Park .
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
