RESOLUTION NO. _115-2011__
Resolution Confirming Appointments To The Firefighters’ And Police
Officers’ Civil Service Commission
WHEREAS, the Firefighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission is
established by state law, specifically, Section 143.006 of the TLG
EXAS OCAL OVERNMENT
C; and,
ODE
WHEREAS, it is a three-member board, whose members are appointed by the
City Manager, with confirmation by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager requests confirmation of the re-appointment of
Ms. Penny Miller to the Firefighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Ms. Penny Miller
The re-appointment of to the Firefighters’ and Police Officers’
Civil Service Commission is hereby confirmed.
