RESOLUTION NO. _100-2011_
Resolution Authorizing A Conflict Of Interest Waiver For A City
Employee Qualifying For Various U.S. Department Of Housing And
Urban Development Funded Programs
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls must make full public disclosure of any
conflict of interest that exists for employees who may gain a financial interest or benefit
from programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD);
WHEREAS, a current City employee has made application for housing
assistance pursuant to a program funded by HUD;
WHEREAS, this employee does not exercise any functions or responsibilities
associated with the program; and
WHEREAS, this employee is not in a position to participate in the decision-
making process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The conflict of interest provisions under various U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development Programs is waived for the City employee currently applying for
housing assistance pursuant to a program funded by HUD.
