RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) 4-DOOR
SEDANS FROM FOUR STARS MOTORS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$76,054.65; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of five (5) 4-door sedans; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 5, 2007 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase five (5) 4-door sedans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of five (5)
4-door sedans to Four Stars Motors in the amount of $76,054.65.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
