RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIFTEEN (15)
FORD CROWN VICTORIA POLICE PATROL VEHICLES AND TWO (2)
FORD EXPEDITIONS FROM PHILPOTT MOTORS, LTD., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $365,971.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of fifteen (15) Ford Crown Victoria police patrol vehicles and two (2) Ford
Expeditions; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 5, 2007 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase fifteen (15) Ford Crown Victoria
Police Patrol Vehicles and two (2) Ford Expeditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of fifteen
(15) Ford Crown Victoria Police Patrol Vehicles and two (2) Ford Expeditions to Philpott
Motors, LTD., in the amount of $365,971.00,
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
