RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF PROPOSAL FOR
FURNISHING AND INSTALLING TWO (2) ELECTRONIC MESSAGE
SIGNS TO IMAGE ADVERTISING IN THE AMOUNT OF $281,908.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested proposals for
furnishing and installing two electronic message signs; and
WHEREAS, proposals were received and opened on August 29, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to contract for furnishing and installing
electronic message signs at the Multi-Purpose Events Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the proposal for furnishing and
installing finro (2) electronic message signs to Image Advertising in the amount of
$281,908.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
