RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TORO
GROUNDSMASTER MOWERS THROUGH THE BUYBOARD
COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM FROM PROFESSIONAL
TURF PRODUCTS., IN THE AMOUNT OF $108,932.75; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, local governments are authorized by Chapter 791, et seq., The
Interlocal Cooperation Act of the Government Code, to agree with other local
governments to form purchasing cooperatives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase Toro mowers and a utility
vehicle, and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the BuyBoard
Purchasing Cooperative,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization be granted to purchase of four various size Toro
mowers and one Workman utility vehicle from Professional TurF Products, in the amount
of $108,932.75.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
