RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) CUSTOM
FIRE SQUAD APPARATUS FROM METRO FORD TRUCK SALES, INC.,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $249,018.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) custom fire squad apparatus and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on October 31, 2007 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase finro (2) custom fire squad
apparatus for the Fire Department fleet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of two (2)
custom fire squad apparatus to Metro Ford Trucks, Inc., in the amount of $249,018.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
