RESOLUTION N0 . 170�-2007
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2007-2008 BUDGET OF THE
WICHITA FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR ANNUAL
MARKETING EXPENDITURES AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation met on November 2
to consider requests for annual marketing initiatives and workforce development; and
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation agreed to these
requests; and
WHEREAS, The 2007-2008 Budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation requires amendment for these expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2007-2008 Budget of Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation is hereby amended in the amount of $107,730 for Regional Marketing and an
amount not to exceed $75,000 for Workforce Development.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
