RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE 11TH AMENDMENT TO THE WATER PURCHASE
CONTRACT WITH THE WICHITA VALLEY WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION,
TEXAS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
WHEREAS, the Water Purchase Contract between the City of Wichita Falis and the
Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation has been previously approved; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation
wish to amend the existing Water Purchase Contract by increasing the maximum amount of
treated water delivered to 850,000 gallons per day; and
WHEREAS, the Council examined the proposed amendment to the Water Purchase
Contract between the City and the Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 11th Amendment of the Water Purchase Contract between the City of
Wichita Falls and the Wichita Valley Water Supply Corporation is hereby approved, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
