RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS TWO-WAY RADIO
PARTS AND COMPONENTS FROM DAILEY AND WELLS COMMUNICATIONS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $162,284.50; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls purchased and installed an EDACS voice
communications system from M/A COM; and
WHEREAS, parts and components of the EDACS system are only available for
purchase through the manufacturer and their authorized providers; and
WHEREAS, Dailey and Wells Communications is the only authorized provider of
ECADS equipment in the Wichita Falls area; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase mobile and portable radios from Dailey and
Wells Communication in the amount of $162,284.50
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The purchase of mobile and portable radios from Dailey and Wells
Communications is hereby authorized in the amount of $162,284.50
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
