RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR RE-ROOFING THE CENTRAL
SERVICES COMPLEX TO LYDICK-HOOKS ROOFING IN THE AMOUNT OF
$118,736.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for re-roofing the
Central Services Complex; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on November 13, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to re-roof the Central Services Complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for re-roofing the Central
Services Complex to Lydick-Hooks Roofing, the local contractor offering the "Best Value", in the
amount of $118,736.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
