Resolution rescinding Resolution #110-2017 and authorizing the City
Manager to execute and award the bid and contract for the 2017
Sanitary Sewer Budget Utility Improvement Project – Phase 2 to MH
Civil Constructors Inc. in the amount of $810,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2017
Sanitary Sewer Budget Utility Improvement Project – Phase 2; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder, Platinum Utility and
Construction Partnership, has failed to execute the required construction contract
within the specified timeframe.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Resolution #110-2017 is rescinded and the unit price bid for the 2017
Sanitary Sewer Budget Utility Improvement Project – Phase 2 is awarded to MH Civil
Constructors Inc., in an estimated total amount of $810,000.00, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Co ntractor for the construction of
such project.
