RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN ALTERNATE DAILY COVER
APPLICATOR AND STORAGE SILO FROM LANDFILL SERVICE CORPORATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $83,600.00.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to purchase an alternate daily cover applicator
and storage silo for use at the Landfill; and
WHEREAS, Landfill Service Corporation desires to sell the current leased applicator and
storage silo; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase the applicator and storage silo for use at
the City Landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted for the purchase of an alternate daily cover
applicator and storage silo from Landfill Service Corporation, in the amount of $83,600.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
