RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2007-2008 BUDGET OF
THE 46 BOARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,600,000 FOR A MOBILE DATA
TERMINALS SYSTEM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The 4B Sales Tax Board met on November 14, 2007 to consider a proposal
for the city's planned Mobile Data Terminal project; and
WHEREAS, After the presentation and discussion, the 46 Sales Tax Board approved
$5,600,000 for this project; and
WHEREAS, To appropriate money for this Mobile Data Terminal project, the 46 Sales
Tax Board requires an amendment to their 2007-2008 Budget in the amount of $5,600,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2007-2008 Budget Of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Board is hereby
amended in the amount of $5,600,000 for a Mobile Data Terminal Project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
