Ordinance Closing, Abandoning, And Vacating A Previously
Dedicated 30 -Foot Drainage Easement Located Behind 4806 Royal
Oak Street Consisting Of Approximately 2,520 Square Feet, And A
10 -Foot Utility Easement Located Across The Back Portion Of 4806

Royal Oak Street Consisting Of Approximately 840 Square Feet, In
Lot 4, Block 13, Sikes Estates Section F -2 Addition
WHEREAS, the property owner of 4806 Royal Oak has requested the City close,
vacate and abandon a 10 -foot utility easement and a 30 -foot drainage easement in and
behind Lot 4, Block 13, Sikes Estates Section F -2, Wichita County, Wichita Falls,
Texas, and
WHEREAS, all affected utility companies and City departments have reviewed
this request and have recommended approval to close, abandon, and vacate this utility
and drainage easement; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best public interest to close,
vacate, and abandon said utility and drainage easement as herein indicated on the
attached Location Map, Location Photographs, and Survey Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Subject to the receipt of $5,000, the approximately 30 -foot drainage easement
located behind 4806 Royal Oak Street consisting of approximately 2,520 square feet
and a 10 -foot utility easement consisting of approximately 840 square feet located
across and behind 4806 Royal Oak, in Lot 4, Block 13, Sikes Estates Section F -2
Addition, as indicated on the attached Survey Plat, are hereby closed, abandoned, and
vacated.
2. Upon receipt of the aforementioned funds, the City Manager will be authorized
to execute all documents necessary, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, to
memorialize the aforementioned closure, vacation, and abandonment.
