RESOLUTION NO. _107-2011_
Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Negotiate An
Agreement With Greyhound Lines For Operational Activities
Involving The Wichita Falls Downtown Travel Center
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to construct a Downtown Travel
Center that will serve as an intermodal facility for both local, regional and intercity
public transportation; and,
WHEREAS, both the City of Wichita Falls and the Federal Transit Administration
will require formal agreements with transportation agencies operating from the facility;
and
WHEREAS, Greyhound Lines has formally requested that discussions begin
with the City of Wichita Falls in regard to operational activities at the completed
Downtown Travel Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to negotiate an agreement in a form approved
by the City Attorney, with Greyhound Lines regarding operational activities at the
completed Wichita Falls Downtown Travel Center.
