Res 104-2011 11/15/2011 RESOLUTION NO. _104-2011_ Resolution Authorizing The Sale Of Excess City Owned Property, Consisting of 18.5 Acres And The Improvements Located At 4927 West Highway 258, to Kyle Miller, in the amount of $80,000 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems it reasonable and in the best public interest to sell the property to include improvements located at 4927 West Highway 258; WHEREAS, the prospective buyer of the property has bid $80,000 at public auction held on November 3, 2011 and deposited a check for 10% of the bid in the amount of $8,000 with the Property Management Office; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best public interest to sell the property located at 4927 West Highway 258, thereby returning it to the tax rolls. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: 1. In consideration of the receipt of $80,000, the sale of 18.5 acres and the Location improvements located at 4927 West Highway 258, as depicted in the attached MapWarranty Deed and/or described in the attached , to Kyle Miller is approved. 2.
